We know it’s tough when everyone has the weekend off and you’re still heading into work. We talked to some of our Brand Ambassadors about how you can treat yourself a little, too.
Tara & Sydney, Nursing Students
What do you do to treat yourself during the work week?
Run to the Starbucks in the hospital lobby and grab a caramel macchiato. With a tough work week, you can also meet a friend for lunch, or get a pedicure.
Does it bother to work on weekends?
Not usually! We love our jobs so we know it’s worth it! We just make special plans around our own schedules so we have things to look forward to.

Is there something small that you do for yourself when you need a pick-me-up at work?
When days are busy or when I start to notice decision fatigue (12 hour days are no joke), I’m a fan of walking outside those double doors and getting some fresh air. Or do a quick yoga stretch to get the blood flowing!
What do you do to treat yourself when you have had a tough work week?
I treat myself to as much rest as I need—a spa day or massage truly works wonders. I love sweets, so exploring a new ice cream shop or bakery always brings me joy!
Dr. Sandhya K., RPh
What do you do to fuel yourself at work?
Grab coffee, and just keep going! I don’t discriminate when it comes to coffee—I bounce between Starbucks and Dunkin’ Donuts.
What to you remind yourself of when you are working?
I just remind myself why chose this profession, which is to help patients. There’s no day off when it comes to sick patients.
